Trophy Class Properties Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ - Leasing Advantages vs Disadvantages
Advantages-Leased land often has many advantages.

1. Trouble Saving. You have that annoying neighbor who you just hate so say NO to but actually is more trouble than their worth. They have no respect for your property, never close the gates and leave trash every where they go. Well, we eliminate that problem! If your property is leased, you can say no with a completely clear conscious.
2. Expense. It can be very expensive to advertise a lease.
3. Time & Aggrevation. It is very frustrating dealing with the large number of phone calls, visits, tours and tire kickers required to actually lease your property. That is what we do for a living so we can handle it for you with ease and all you have to do is take the check to the bank.

FAQ - Booking a Hunt with an Outfitter
Booking an outfitted hunt with a reputable outfitter is often the most effecient ways to hunt for deer and turkey. You eliminate the need to scout, hang stands, plant food plots, chase tresspassers, fix fences and book a hotel or camp.
The key to this however, is finding a quality outfitter. Here are few suggestions that might be hepful to you in your quest.

Ask the right questions
1. What is your shot opportunity percentage? This is the best number to get. Outfitters can't make hunters take or make good shots, but if they do their job correctly they should have a good shot opportunity percentage. Keep in mind if you are hunting for a trophy buck then make sure the shot opportunity does not include does.
2. How many hunters to you take per hunt compared to how much land they hunt?
3. Do you have land dedicated to bow/arhcery only?
4. Get details about their management program. If they don't have one, RUN.
5. What kind of stands do they use, how high are they, how often are they hunted, do you move them annually? All important questions.
6. Is the land reserved for customers only?
7. Get references and include unsucessful clients.

I will be posting more in this area a little later so check back.
